Jodie Shea is a marriage and family therapist who provides services to Northern Orange County (Fullerton, La Habra, Anaheim, Buena Park, and Yorba Linda). She is passionate about helping others with their relationships and specializes in sex therapy, trauma, and couples counseling. Jodie understands that every client and their relationship is one of a kind. Jodie takes the time to listen to her client’s needs and puts the effort to provide a treatment plan that is uniquely tailored for her clients.

Jodie earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Central Connecticut State College. She has over 3,200 hours of training and has attended hundreds of association meetings, professional conferences, and specialized training workshops. Jodie has helped multiple couples from Orange County rekindle their sex life, overcome infidelity, learn positive communication, and enhance their overall relationship. Jodie also helps individuals who are suffering from many different types of trauma such as sexual abuse, verbal or physical abuse, abuse from within the family, and more.

Relationships have always been difficult and should be (at least a little) if we are doing them right. Although it does get easier, it is constant work. Now imagine needing to do that work for hours on end for months and you have relationships during the coronavirus. Most of us have heard the reports from China about the surge in divorce rates during the quarantine which leads us to wonder if that could be our relationship in a few weeks.
